Join us for a day trip to Brighton! A fascinating Seaside destination, popular with tourists, renowned for its diverse communities, quirky shopping areas, large cultural, music and arts scene and its large LGBT population, leading to its reverence as the “gay capital of the UK”.
Starting your 1.5 hour walking tour at the infamous Brighton Pier, you will be guided through St James Street, otherwise known as the “Friendly Quarter” with its original buildings and great welcoming atmosphere.
On through the Lanes of Brighton, taking in the live street entertainment as well as quaint, wondrous shops and funky restaurants and cafés.
Your Guide will take you past the legendary Royal Pavilion, in the centre of Brighton, with its exotic architecture and colorful history. Built as a seaside pleasure palace for King George IV, this historic house mixes Regency grandeur with the visual style of India and China.
Your walking tour will end at the Brighton Museum and Art Gallery (entrance fee not included). You may choose to spend your afternoon at the museum or check out the shops and cafés, there is much to see and do! We will provide you with a map to help navigate your way around the city.
